TEXAS STATE COACH TY HARRINGTON
Opening Statement…
"There were opportunities for us to score, no doubt. We left 11 runners on base, and (UTSA) only left five. They outplayed us in just about every phase of the game tonight. They came out emotionally and physically ready to go. They played really well. They played at a really high level. We have to go back to work tomorrow to try to figure out some things. They got after us tonight."

On how the team performed after sweeping Richmond…
"It's disappointing because we need to be better than this all the way around, regardless of what we did the weekend before. We have to continue to get better. I thought we were starting to make some strides that way. Certainly, tonight did not indicate that. That had a lot to do with our opponent. I thought they were really good. They played at a high level."
