MONROE, La. –  Alexis Collins banked in a 3-pointer with half a second to play to lift ULM past Texas State 61-59 in a Saturday matinee at the Warhawks' Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
Â
Texas State ends the regular season at 16-13 overall and 11-7 in Sun Belt play. The Warhawks finish at 6-23 overall and 3-15 in conference play. ULM will be the No. 12 seed in the forthcoming Sun Belt Championship, while the Bobcats will learn their seeding at the end of the day's games.
Â
Texas State rallied from as many as 11 down in the third quarter to twice tie the game in the fourth and eventually take a 59-58 lead on

Â
ULM outscored the Bobcats 21-15 in the second quarter for a 35-28 halftime lead. The Warhawks hit three 3-pointers in the period, while the Bobcats connected on two from deep, including Walla's triple from the left corner in the waning seconds of the half.

Ti'Aira Pitts and-1 and committed four turnovers. After a ULM free throw,
Erin Peoples scored inside, sparking a 12-3 Bobcat run to end the third and cut the ULM lead to 46-43. Leavitt scored eight straight during the TXTS scoring streak, including threes on back-to-back possessions.
Â
