Named to the WAC All-Freshman Team … at the end of the season, Peoples was named as the Iron Bobcat by the coaching staff ... Became the first Texas State player to receive WAC Player of the Week after scoring a season-high 23 points and grabbing 12 rebounds against Huston-Tillotson … Finished the year in eighth place in a single season at Texas State with 35 blocks … Was the team’s leading rebounder on 12 occasions and the team leading scorer twice … Led the team with 240 total rebounds during the season … Was also first on the team in steals with 52 … Recorded five double-doubles during the year, second-most on the team … Had double-digit rebounds in six of seven games from Jan. 12-Feb. 7 … Had a career-high 14 rebounds against Houston Baptist (Feb. 20) … Only freshman to start and play in all 30 games … Had a season-high four blocks against Idaho (Jan. 24) … The game was part of a three game stretch in which she had at least three blocks in each game … Opened the year with at least one steal in the first seven games.
