JONESBORO, Ark. - After playing its final home game of the season last Saturday, the Texas State football team closes out the 2017 campaign with a pair of Sun Belt Conference road games against Arkansas State and Troy.
Texas State travels to Arkansas State on Saturday, Nov. 18, and faces the Red Wolves at 2 p.m. in Centennial Bank Stadium. The game will be shown on ESPN3 with Michael Watts calling the play by play and Doug Graber serving as the analyst.

Looking At Texas State
Texas State enters Saturday's contest with a 2-8 overall record that includes a 1-5 Sun Belt Conference mark after suffering a 33-30 loss against Georgia State on Nov. 11 at Bobcat Stadium. The loss came after the Bobcats fell 45-35 against New Mexico State on Nov. 4.

Texas State posted a 27-7 victory in its last Sun Belt Conference road game at Coastal Carolina on Oct. 28 after dropping its first three SBC games against Appalachian State on Sept. 16, ULM on Oct. 7 and at Louisiana on Oct. 12.

About Arkansas State
Arkansas State enters Saturday's game with a 5-3 overall record and a 4-1 Sun Belt Conference mark after falling 24-19 at South Alabama on Nov. 11. The Red Wolves have a 3-0 mark in home games at Centennial Bank Stadium, including a 2-0 mark in Sun Belt home games this season, and have posted a winning record in home games for 13 straight seasons.

Texas State will be looking to win its second overall game and first road game in its series against Arkansas State. The Bobcats also are trying to improve its overall series record to 2-3 against the Red Wolves.
