SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's golf team completed its final tournament before the Sun Belt Conference Championship on Tuesday, at the Web.com Intercollegiate in Jacksonville, Fla.

Lejan Lewthwaite turned in another top-30 performance, with her 1-over-par 73 to finish atop the Bobcat leaderboard. She had a relatively calm day on the scorecard with 15 pars and one birdie to go along with just two bogeys.

The Bobcats tied the University of Minnesota in 11th place just eight shots back of seventh place. The University of Miami won the event with a three-round total of 851.

Texas State will now gear up for the Sun Belt Tournament from April 13-15 in Loxley, Ala. The winner of the tournament is given a berth to the NCAA Tournament. The Bobcats are looking to make their fourth straight NCAA Tournament after receiving an at-large berth each of the last three years. Last year at the Sun Belt Tournament, the Bobcats finished second and Mara Puisite co-medaled for the individual title.
