SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Texas State football team looks to win its fifth game overall and second straight Sun Belt Conference road game when the Bobcats travel to New Mexico State on Saturday, Nov. 1. The game will be played at Aggie Memorial Stadium and televised on ESPN3 beginning at 3:00 p.m. (Central).
Texas State enters the game with a 4-3 overall record and 2-1 SBC mark after coming from behind to win its first SBC road game in school history at UL Monroe. The Bobcats also split their first two conference home games against Idaho and UL Lafayette. The Bobcats are 2-1 overall in road games this season.
New Mexico State enters the game with a 2-6 overall record and a 1-3 mark against SBC opponents this season. The Aggies are looking to snap a six-game skid after they opened the season with two straight wins against Cal Poly and at Georgia State. New Mexico State is 1-2 in home games this season after beating Cal Poly and dropping a pair of games against New Mexico and Georgia Southern.
