San Marcos, Texas – Former Bobcat basketball player Tony Bishop was selected Eurobasket.com Player of the Week for Round 20 after leading seventh-ranked Nevezis to a comeback victory over ninth-ranked Lietkabelis, 72-67. Bishop notched a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds. He ranks second in the league with 8.6 rebounds per game and averages 54.1 percent from the field.

In addition to his weekly accolades, Bishop was recently voted to play in the Lithuanian Basketball League All-Star Game. This is the second straight season that Bishop was been selected to play in an all-star game.
