San Marcos, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team heads to SMU on Wednesday for its second game this season against a team from the American Athletic Conference. Previously the Bobcats played Houston in the season opener, coming up just short 76-70.
Emani Gant has emerged for the Bobcats in his first season, leading the Sun Belt in field goal percentage at .792. He is 19-of-24 this season and has two games of 14 or more points. He had 14 points on Saturday against Oral Roberts to lead the Bobcats.
