Chase Harper and Zach Robinson Earn CFPA Player Of The Week Awards

San Marcos, Texas - Chase Harper and Zach Robinson have been named the College Football Performance Award's tight end and punter Performers of the Week in the WAC following their performances at New Mexico last Saturday.
 
Harper caught two passes for 51 yards and a touchdown against the Lobos. His touchdown pass was a 40-yard strike from Shaun Rutherford and is the second-longest pass by the Bobcats this season. Harper enters the Idaho game having caught 12 passes for 153 yards and 3 touchdowns this season. He also recorded three catches for 35 yards against Nevada. He also caught a season-best five passes for 48 yards and two TD's against Stephen F. Austin.
 
Robinson averaged 49.5 yards on four punts at New Mexico. He had two 52-yard punts in the fourth quarter and a 49-yard punt in the second quarter against the Lobos. Robinson also had a 45-yard punt in the third quarter at UNM.
 
He enters this week's game against Idaho averaging 46.6 yards on 13 punts this season. He is two punts shy of being ranked among WAC and national leaders. His average leads the WAC and is the fourth-highest punting average nationally.
 
The goal of the College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. Recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.
