San Marcos, Texas - The Texas State soccer team is in search of its sixth trip to the NCAA Tournament, as it begins the WAC Tournament this week, Nov. 1-4 at Chuck and Gloria Bell Field in Logan, Utah on the campus of Utah State. Texas State begins the tournament against No. 6 seed Idaho at 12:00 p.m. MT on Thursday.

Texas State enters the week as the No. 3 seed in the WAC Tournament at 7-11-1 overall after going 4-4-0 in WAC play. The Bobcats have won two of their last three games, most recently shutting out I-35 rival UTSA, 1-0 in San Antonio.

The Bobcats beat the Vandals in the first conference game of the season, Sept. 28, 2-1 in San Marcos. The Bobcats scores two goals in the final nine minutes for the victory.

Idaho enters the week 6-13-1 overall and 3-4-1 in league play. The Vandals are led by Chelsea Small who has scored eight goals to go with one assist, to lead the team.
