The 2011 Texas State football season is almost here.  We are working on several improvements to Bobcat Stadium and our game operations that may affect you. Below are ways that you can watch, listen and tailgate on Bobcat football gameday.  Access to all of the information below can be found on the Gameday Central page of txstatebobcats.com.

Tickets

Several things have changed in the ticket office to adjust for construction at the football stadium.  Still the best way to get tickets is to go online to txstatebobcats.com or call the ticket office prior to game day at 512-245-2272. 

Starting this year tickets will not be available for purchase from H.E.B. All ticket purchases are available online or at the athletic ticket office. 

Online purchases will not be available for a particular game five hours before game time.  On game day if you need to purchase tickets, the west side ticket office at Bobcat Stadium will be open five hours before game time.

Tailgating

Bobcat Alley and student tailgating will move to a new location in 2011.  Due to construction organized tailgating has been moved to the Strahan Coliseum lot on the corner of Charles Austin Drive and Aquarena Springs Drive. The lot allows for easy access from Aquarena Springs Drive and is within walking distance to Bobcat Stadium.

All students and student groups are welcome to tailgate in this lot at no charge on a first come, first served basis.  Reserved spots are available for students and student organizations if you desire, but are not required to tailgate.

Tailgating starts at 9am and a live concert will take place from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm featuring the Scott Taylor Band.

Bobcat Alley is coordinated through the Associated Student Government office.

Parking

General parking is available in the Strahan Coliseum lot, outside of Bobcat Tailgate Alley or in the Mill Street parking lot.  No parking is available in the East side parking lot of Bobcat Stadium.  The cost to park is $5.

Those fans looking for a reserved parking spot for the entire season can join the Bobcat Club at the Maroon Level or higher and gain access to parking on the West Side of the stadium.  Information on the Bobcat Club can be found online at www.txstatebobcatclub.com or by calling 512-245-2114.
