San Marcos, Texas – Texas State men's basketball begins a three-game home stretch this Sunday against Northwestern Oklahoma State. Tip-off is slated for 4:00 p.m. at Strahan Coliseum. The Bobcats will look to win their 13th consecutive victory at home.

This will be the first ever meeting between Texas State and Northwestern Oklahoma State.
Scouting Texas State
Texas State looks to recover from a pair of losses on the road, after starting the season 3-0 for the best start since 1986. The Bobcats enter Sunday averaging 88.4 points per game and shooting 74 percent from the free throw line. Matt Staff and Eddie Rios both had 20+ point scoring games last week to lead Texas State. Scouting Northwestern Oklahoma
Northwestern Oklahoma State (3-3) will face Our Lady of the Lake on Friday night, before coming to San Marcos to play the Bobcats. The Rangers are led by Marshall Bell (16.0 ppg) and Jonathan Freemyer (16.3 ppg and 6.2 rpg). Northwestern Oklahoma State began the season 2-0, before going on a three-game skid. The Rangers are averaging 77.8 points per game, but are being out-rebounded by their opponents by seven.
