Gardini had a breakout year last season with 4.5 shutouts in her first year as a full-time starter … she currently ranks fourth all-time at Texas State with 7.5 career shutouts … in her first career start she shutout Lamar in double overtime to earn Southland Conference Player of the Week honors … she used her 5-11 frame last season to make 72 saves last season.

2011
Made two starts in place of Lauren Frazier … went 2-1-0 on the season, coming in relief of Lauren Frazier in three games, including the second half in a 1-0 shutout victory over Sam Houston State (Sept. 30) … had a shutout victory at Northwestern State in a 2-0 victory, in which she stopped three shots (Oct. 14) … team went 4-1-0 in games she appeared in … owns a goals against average of 0.35 over 254 minutes.

2010
Saw action in six games, starting four … recorded back-to-back shutouts from Oct. 17-22 … in her first two starts, both on the road (Oct. 15-17), she allowed just one goal in 205 minutes … Gardini was named Southland Goalkeeper of the Week on Oct. 19, for her performance in her first two career starts … Against Lamar on Oct. 15, she had a career-high 10 saves, allowing just one goal despite facing 18 shots … ended the season with a .913 save percentage and a 0.41 goals against average … her two shutouts were good for 10th in the SLC.

High School
Multi-sport letterwinner at Westwood High School in Austin, Texas ... played soccer and basketball … under soccer coach Jim Donahue, helped WHS to three consecutive postseasons (2008 Bi-District Champions, 2009 Regional Quarter Finals and 2010 Regional Finals) … earned Academic All-District honors her sophomore season … posted a 0.22 goals against average, as well … named District 16-5A Honorable Mention in 2009 … garnered District Goalkeeper of the Year honors the following season … named First Team All-Centex, All-Region and All-State in 2010 … also earned Academic All-District honors in basketball … named 2010 United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award.
