During his tenure, the Bulldogs posted 22 shutouts, including a season-high nine last year, which tied the school record. The school posted its first 10 win season in four years in 2010, going 10-6-3.
Also in 2010, Wichman helped Kalena Litch to a program best nine shutouts and 0.75 goals against average. As a result she was named to the second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference Team, along with the All-MVC Freshman Team.
Wichman, a native of Des Moines Iowa served as the goalkeeper coach for his alma mater, Simpson College, coaching the women’s team in 2006 and 2007. He helped the Storm to 10 shutouts and a 1.07 team goals against average in 2006.
Wichman also served on the staffs at Waukee High School in 2007 and 2008 and at Iowa City West in 2006.
