Colby Community College: Competed for Texas State alumnus James Ortiz ... Set the new 1,500-meter record for the school at 4:02.8 ... Was a two-time All-American in the 4x800m relay ... Finished second at the NJCAA Indoor Nationals in 2014 ... Set personal bests of 1:54.4 in the 800m, 3:08 in the 1,200m, 4:02.8 in the 1,500m, 16:03 in the 5K, 26:45 in the 8K and 2:34.2 in the 1,000 meters.

Rice High School: Competed for Coach Mark Putejozsky ... Finished in third place at state in 2012 and in fourth place in 2013, both in the 800 meters ... Personal best was 1:56.16 in the 800m.
