Sophomore (2016) – Competed in 42 contests and made 35 starts (33-RF, 2-DH) . . . compiled a .244 average (32-for-131), while collecting 10 doubles, one triple, five home runs, 21 RBI and 23 runs scored . . . ended the campaign with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage (46 putouts, three assists, no errors) . . . tied for the team lead with seven stolen bases . . . recorded multiple hits in six games, including three with three hits . . . went 3-for-5 with a season-best five RBI and three runs scored against Appalachian State (March 19) . . . also went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two home runs against UTSA (March 15) . . . posted four multi-RBI contests.
 
Freshman (2015) – Made 37 appearances with 23 starts (20-RF, 3-DH) . . . registered a .165 batting average (13-for-79) . . . added five doubles, one triple, one home run, five RBI and 12 runs scored . . . drew 14 walks . . . recorded a .977 fielding percentage (42 putouts, one assist, one error) . . . had two hits against Troy (April 26) . . . scored twice against both UC Davis (Feb. 13) and Baylor (April 2) . . . also hit a home run against the Aggies.
 
Brenham High School – Competed for Coach Lanny Williams . . . was named first-team all-state as a utility player . . . also named First-Team All-Brazos Valley and First-Team All-Greater Houston Area . . . graduated summa cum laude.
 
Personal – Majoring in management . . . son of Bruce Hoffman and Comfort Ameako . . . has an older sister, Margaret . . . chose Texas State because of the great atmosphere . . . was also recruited by Kansas State, Rice, Blinn and Texas Tech . . . favorite hobbies include fishing and snowboarding.
