Will Grant

  • Title
    Manager
The 2017 season is the fourth at Texas State for team manager Will Grant. He took over the position his freshman year and has been the most reliable Bobcat ever since.

Before coming to school at Texas State, Grant was the student manager at J. Frank Dobie High School under Head Coach Miguel Torres. In his role there, Grant was in charge of equipment transportation as well as statistics.
As a member of the team, Grant was selected by his teammates to represent Dobie for the Greater Houston Area photo. This came after he was awarded the previously known Heart Award, given to the best teammate who had the most heart and hustle. That very award is now named the William Grant Heart Award to commemorate the work Grant did as the team’s student manager.

Now at Texas State, Grant spearheads the team’s laundry services, equipment maintenance and transportation as well as being responsible for game balls throughout the season. He also provides any assistance Texas State coaches may need during practice or games which encompasses any drills or practice environment situations.

Grant is the son of Roy and Kathy Grant. He is one of three sons with brothers Justin and Sam. The Houston native is pursuing a degree in general studies at Texas State.
