2012
A team captain for the 2013 season for the Bobcats, Curry played in all 21 games last year … she had a goal and two assists rotating from left outside midfielder to right outside midfielder … she finished the year with 24 shots, nine of which were on goal.

2011
Started all 14 games before being sideline due to a leg injury … opened the season with a torrid start, scoring two goals in a five minute span in the season opener against Prairie View A&M (Aug. 19) … established a new career-high for shots in a game with seven against Northwestern State … her seven shots tied Erica Michaud for most shots in a game this year … scored the team’s first goal against the Demons.

2010
Played in 20 games, starting six … scored her first career goal against Grambling State (Sept. 12) … had her first career assists in the regular season finale at Sam Houston (Oct. 31) … also had an assist to help the Bobcats make a comeback and force overtime against Southeastern Louisiana in the Southland Conference Tournament … recorded 27 shots during the season, eight of which were on goal ... Oak Farms Dairy Award winner.

High School
Lettered four years at Cy-Fair High School under head coach Chad Onhaizer … earned District 15-5A First Team honors in 2008 and 2009 … was also named All-Region midfielder both seasons … named Rookie of the Year in 2007, as well as garnering Second Team honors … All-Academic player in ’08 and ’09 … preseason All-Greater Houston in 2010 … member of the National Honor Society … also competed for the Cy-Fair Dynamos select soccer club.

Sydney Curry was born September 16, 1991 in Humble, Texas … daughter of Steve and Lesli Curry … younger sister of Bobcat soccer alum Britney Curry … has a younger sister, Lynsey who also plays soccer … enjoys hanging out with friends and going to the movies … marketing major.
