2012: Appeared in 12 games out of the bullpen … allowed runs in just two of those 12 appearances, with a 10-game scoreless appearance streak in the middle of the season … finished the season working 6 2/3 innings … struck out five while walking just one … threw a season-high 1 1/3 innings against Southeastern Louisiana (4/13) … had a stretch of four perfect appearances from 5/9-15.
 
2011: Did not play.
 
2010: Made 17 appearances out of the bullpen, recording a 1-0 record and 4.91 ERA in 14 2/3 innings on the mound … struck out 11 batters and limited opponents to five extra-base hits … defeated Sam Houston State (3/21) after throwing 3 1/3 scoreless innings and striking out a career-high four batters.
 
2009: Pitched 3 2/3 innings in relief, compiling a 4.91 and no decisions on the season … tossed a scoreless inning against Texas A&M, striking out one.
 
High School: Attended Yoakum High School in Yoakum, Texas where he played for head coach Jace Wood … earned all-state honors and was also named the district MVP … named the district and area newcomer of the year … compiled a 14-1 record as a senior … finished his career with 206 strikeouts in 123 innings pitched and a 0.96 ERA.
