2012: Appeared in 15 games, starting 14 … threw a career-high 8 innings twice, against UT Arlington and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi … finished the year with a 3.28 ERA in 93 1/3 innings … limited opponents to just a .242 average against him … struck out 75 while walking just 26 … began the season 4-0, with wins in each of his first four starts … fanned a season-high 12 in 7.0 innings without allowing a run against Notre Dame (3/4) … allowed just two earned runs in 27 innings over his first four starts to begin the year … threw a scoreless inning in his only relief appearance of the year, as part of an 8-4 win against TCU … struck out eight without walking any in 7 1/3 innings against Sam Houston State (3/25).
