2012: Started three games … earned a record of 1-1, with a 2.55 ERA in 17 2/3 innings … finished the year allowing no runs in his last two starts, spanning 13 innings … threw six innings, allowing just one hit while striking out eight and walking only one against TCU, to earn a win in a 1-0 game (2/28) … followed that start up with seven shutout innings a week later against Rice, scattering three hits (3/6) … struck out 18 on the season, walking just five.
 
2011: Served as the team’s number two weekend starter, compiling a 6-3 record with a 3.66 ERA in 16 starts … finished second on the team with 72 strikeouts and 105 2/3 innings pitched … won his first five decisions of the season … won the team’s NCAA Regional game against Princeton (6/4), throwing 7 1/3 innings with just one earned run allowed and four strikeouts … tossed a complete game shutout against Southeastern Louisiana (4/16) ... had his second career complete game the following week against Northwestern State (4/22) ... defeated Sam Houston State (3/19) after pitching seven innings, allowing three runs and striking out three ... set a new career high with nine strikeouts against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3/5).
 
2010: Pitched effectively both as a starter and reliever, making 20 appearances and seven starts during the season … compiled a 6-1 record with a 4.61 earned run average and 39 strikeouts in 54 2/3 innings of work … allowed just three home runs … finished the season 4-1 in games started with a 4.15 ERA … struck out a season-high seven batters while allowing just one earned run over seven innings in first start of the season against Baylor (4/21) … struck out four batters in two innings of relief work against Lamar (5/29) … earned a save after pitching one scoreless inning against Houston (2/20).
 
2009: Made 11 appearances on the mound, all in relief ... posted a 9.69 ERA in 13 innings ... recorded 16 strikeouts in the stint, including a season-best six retired batters on strikes against UT Arlington ... allowed 14 hits and 19 runs, only 14 of which were earned ... walked just five batters and held opponents to just 14 extra base hits.
 
High School: Lettered at Flower Mound Marcus High School ... named all-district first team for his efforts on the mound.
