2011: Made 21 total appearances, seven of which were midweek starts … had a 4-2 record and 5.06 ERA in 53 1/3 innings on the mound …struck out 53 batters while limiting opposing batters to a .243 batting average … earned a win after having a career-high eight strikeouts over eight innings in an elimination Southland Conference Tournament game against Nicholls (5/27) … made his first career start against Baylor (3/8), earning the win after allowing one run over three innings … started against Texas (4/26) and limited the Longhorns to three hits and no runs over five innings.

2010: Made 12 appearances on the mound in relief, recording 15 2/3 innings pitched … finished the season with a 0-0 record and 6.89 ERA while recording 11 strikeouts … only allowed one extra-base hit, a double, during the season … held right-handed batters to a .239 batting average … pitched two scoreless innings against Houston Baptist (4/27) while striking out a season-high four batters.

High School: Lettered two years at Rockwall High School under head coach Jeff Payne ... member of the 2008 RHS regional quarterfinalist team ... helped lead the team to a 26-5 record in 2009 ... earned District 10-4A Most Valuable Player and second team all-area honors ... recorded 97 strikeouts in his senior season ... posted a 1.48 career ERA.
