SAN MARCOS, Texas – Three Texas State men's golfers were recognized among the nation's top student-athletes as the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced its 2025-26 NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars.
Jose Manuel Berenguel Casas,
Ben Loveard and
Sakke Siltala were each named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, earning recognition for their accomplishments both on the course and in the classroom.
To qualify for consideration, NCAA Division I student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically and athletically, participate in at least 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, maintain a stroke average under 76.0 and achieve a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. Honorees must also demonstrate high moral character and remain in good standing at their respective institutions.
The Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars program recognizes outstanding collegiate golfers who have distinguished themselves through their performance in competition, academic success and commitment to their universities.
