SAN MARCOS, Texas – Junior Chase Mora hit a two RBI double in the bottom of the eighth for the walk-off victory on Sunday at Bobcat Ballpark. Texas State defeated ULM 10-0 in eight innings to complete the series sweep.

With the win, the Bobcats are now 24-24 on the season and 12-12 in the Sun Belt Conference while the Warhawks dropped to 21-27 overall and 7-17 in league play.

Austin Eaton (3-2) struck out three in five scoreless innings while giving up four hits and walking two to pick up the win. Landon Grigg (1-8) struck out five in four innings but allowed two runs on four hits to take the loss.

Tossing two scoreless frames out of the bullpen was Bryson Dudley. Striking out one was Carson Laws, who worked an inning of relief.

Both Coy DeFury and Mora went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Both of DeFury's base knocks were doubles while Mora also scored two times. Also finishing with two base knocks and driving in a run was Ryne Farber.

Ian Collier scored twice and both Samson Pugh and Cole Tabor drove in two runs apiece.

The game was scoreless until the third. Travis Bragg led off the bottom of the inning with a single to left center and would move into scoring position on Mora's single through the left side of the infield. DeFury sent the first pitch he saw down the right field line for a double that plated both runners.

In the sixth, Mora started things off by drawing a walk and DeFury followed with his second double of the afternoon. The bases would become loaded when Austin Munguia was hit by a 1-1 pitch. Tabor sent the first pitch he saw of the game through the right side for a two RBI single to double the lead.

Collier would reach base on a throwing error by the ULM shortstop that saw Munguia score on the play. Pugh followed with a single through the left side of the drawn in infield to bring in two more runs to increase the advantage to 7-0.

The bottom of the eighth began with Collier getting plunked. After the next two batters were retired, Alan Shibley worked a free pass. Farber took advantage by sending the first pitch of his at bat to right field for an RBI single.

Following a pitching change, Mora laced the first pitch from Holden Hess over the shortstop to the left centerfield gap for a double that saw both runners score for the walk-off victory.

Next up for the Bobcats is the final Sun Belt series on the road when the team travels to the Peach State to take on Georgia Southern. The first game of the series is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. CT first pitch on Friday.
