Picking up his first save of the season was Matthew Tippie after he tossed the final three innings and recorded six strikeouts. Bryson Bales (2-3) gave up two runs on two hits and two walks in 1.2 innings out of the bullpen to take the loss.

Out of the bullpen, Braylen Timmins struck out three in two scoreless frames.

Both Ryne Farber and Chase Mora went 3-for-4 at the plate. Farber stole his eighth base of the season while Mora finished with two RBI and hit his 27th career home run. Driving in a run and recording a base knock was Coy DeFury, Zachary Gingrich and Samson Pugh.

With one gone in the second, walks were issued to Zachary Gingrich and Justin Vossos. Mora would send a 0-2 pitch to left field to plate the first run of the game.

Alan Shibley reached base on a fielding error by the first baseman and made it to second on the play with two outs in the third. A 2-0 pitch to Coy DeFury was sent back up the middle to bring the right fielder home and increase the lead to 2-0.

In the sixth, DeFury worked a free pass to start off the frame. Gingrich would then lace a 1-0 pitch down the right field line for an RBI double. Pugh plated Gingrich on a single and he would score on the play as the ball went between the centerfielder's legs and all the way to the warning track that extended the lead to five runs.

The sixth and final run of the game for the Bobcats came in the eighth. Mora hit a line shot 370 feet to left field that went over the wall for his fourth homer of the season.
