SAN MARCOS, Texas – This Saturday sees Texas State (1-1) back in action when it travels to take on Tulane (1-0). Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. from the Devlin Fieldhouse.

The Bobcats are coming off a 114-55 victory over Texas A&M-San Antonio on Wednesday in the home opener. Five players finished in double-figures led by
Mark Drone with 19.
Kaden Gumbs came close to a double-double as he netted 16 points and dished out eight assists while also totaling five rebounds and four steals.
Drone leads a trio with a double-digit scoring average at 11.5 points per game.
Franck Emmou is contributing 10.5 ppg and
Dimp Pernell comes in netting 10.0 ppg while shooting 61.5% (8-fo-13) from the field. Gumbs leads the team with 4.5 assists a contest.
About Tulane
The Green Wave opened the season with an 85-72 win at home over Samford on Monday. As a team, they were 31-of-53 (58.5%) from the field, knocked down 11-of-21 (52.4%) three-pointers and went 12-for-13 (92.3%) at the free throw line.
Asher Woods scored a game-high 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting and was 9-for-9 at the charity stripe. Also reaching the 20-point mark was Curtis Williams, Jr. with 22 that saw him go 9-for-9 on field goals including making four three-pointers. Rowan Brumbaugh added 12 points, six rebounds and five steals.
Series History
Saturday will mark the third ever meeting between the programs. Texas State has won both previous contests. The last time the teams faced off was on Dec. 23, 2016, in New Orleans with the Bobcats winning 69-66 in overtime. Kavin Gilder-Tilbury scored 23 points and Bobby Conley made the game-winning three-pointer with 38 seconds remaining on the clock.
