Chance Main and
Brey Walker earned invitations to rookie minicamps as Texas State football alums earned NFL opportunities following the 2024 NFL Draft.

Main was invited to rookie minicamp with the Minnesota Vikings while Walker will attend minicamp with the Kansas City Chiefs. Corrales was invited to the Patriots' camp.

All four Bobcats spent one season with Texas State to earn their spots at the next level.

Ford-Dement played in all 13 games this past season, including 11 starts, after transferring from Washington State. The Whitehouse, Texas product had 32 tackles, 3.0 TFLs, 3 interceptions and 7 pass breakups while the picks and PBUs were second-most on the team.

Ford-Dement was an all-conference performer during his time at Old Dominion and started his career at Kilgore College in 2017.

Main, who joined the Bobcats midway through August after transferring from Colorado, played in 10 games in 2023 at defensive end. He had 25 tackles, 4.5 TFLs, 1.5 sacks and 3 hurries in 305 defensive snaps. The Cherryvale, Kan. product made his Bobcat debut against UTSA in week two, where he totaled a season-best 9 tackles.

Main began his collegiate career at Independence CC (2017-18) and also played at UIW (2019-21) before joining Colorado and Texas State.

Walker, who played in 41 career games at Oklahoma from 2018-22, saw an increased role during his lone season with Texas State. He earned All-Sun Belt Third Team honors after serving as the starting right guard in 12 games. The Moore, Okla. product did not allow a sack all season and surrendered only 9 total pressures on 396 pass plays.

Corrales played in 4 games for the Bobcats in 2023. He had 2 catches for 43 yards.
