SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's basketball righted its ship in statement fashion with a 99-65 win over Sul Ross State. The Bobcats sit at 2-2 on the season after a high-scoring win inside Strahan Arena.

Highlighting the night was big performances from Bobcat seniors
Morgan Hill and
Jaylin Foster. Hill tallied her third career double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds on the night. Foster had a complete night with 16 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block. All 14 Bobcats had minutes and points on the night.

WHAT HEAD COACH ZENARAE ANTOINE SAID: "There are definitely a lot of positives to take away from this game. There was an opportunity for everyone to truly see quality minutes. That's a big piece of it. I thought our forwards did a really great job in this game. Obviously there was a height advantage, but it wasn't just that. They did a better job of rim running, they did a great job of finishing. They were able to reverse the ball, or make that next pass. It wasn't just that they were physically dominate, they were fundamentally sound."
