Football continues its stretch of home games against Nevada on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Bobcat Stadium. Volleyball opens conference play against ULM for a two-match home series beginning Thursday. Soccer will be on the road at Arkansas State on Thursday, before returning to the Bobcat Soccer Complex for a match against Troy. Women's golf will be competing in the Schooner Fall Classic Sept. 23-25.

In their home opener in front of the ninth-largest crowd in stadium history, Texas State staked itself to its best start to a season since 2013 with a 77-34 win over Jackson State on Saturday at Bobcat Stadium. The Bobcats continue its stretch of home games with a matchup against Nevada on Sept. 23 at Bobcat Stadium.

Volleyball won two matches at the Jayhawk Invitational over the weekend and fell in their final match against #20 Kansas. The Bobcats open Sun Belt Conference play on Thursday night against ULM, the first of a two-match home series against the Warhawks. The final match will take place on Friday at 6 p.m.

Soccer opened Sun Belt Conference play with a 3-0 victory over Louisiana and now the Bobcats will play in its first conference road match this week. They will travel to play Arkansas State on Thursday before they return home Sunday to host Troy.

Women's golf returns to action for the Schooner Fall Classic Sept. 23-25 at the Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Oklahoma. The Bobcats completed its first fall tournament of the season with a finish just outside the top-10.
