Football opens their 2023 home schedule on Saturday at Bobcat Stadium against Jackson State. Volleyball will be on the road this weekend for the Kansas Tournament. Conference play begins on Sunday for Soccer against Louisiana. Women's golf opens their fall season in New Mexico for the Dick McGuire Invitational. The Southwestern Quad this weekend awaits tennis, and cross country will compete in the UIW Invitational this Saturday.

The Bobcats will have its 2023 home opener against Jackson State this Saturday at Bobcat Stadium. This will be the first meeting between the two schools. Texas State is coming off its first loss of the season in a 20-13 defeat against I-35 rival UTSA in the Alamodome.

Texas State will head to Kansas for a tournament hosted by the Kansas Jayhawks. The Bobcats will see #22 Kansas, Bellarmine and New Hampshire beginning Sept. 15 against New Hampshire.

Soccer opens conference play on Sunday at the Bobcat Soccer Complex against Louisiana. The game will feature an alumni tailgate and halftime recognition. Last week soccer took a 4-0 win over Texas Southern at home that gave head coach Steve Holeman his 300^th career win.

Women's golf opens their fall season at the Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. Texas State last competed in the Dick McGuire Invitational in 2021 where the team recorded a top-10 finish.

Following a successful weekend at the Islander Open winning three flights, tennis will travel to Georgetown, Texas for the Southwestern Quad Sept. 15-16

Texas State men's cross country team placed second in the team results at the UIW Twilight, and freshman Alexia Macias placed third on the women's side. The next event for the Bobcats will be the UIW Invitational on Saturday in Windcrest, Texas.
