Soccer closes their homestand by hosting North Texas before facing I-35 rival UTSA in San Antonio. Volleyball will open their 2023 season at the Tennessee Classic where the Bobcats are slated for three matches in the tournament.

Soccer opened their season with two wins at home against McNeese and Central Arkansas, scoring a total of eight goals on the weekend. The Bobcats will end its three-match homestand on Thursday against North Texas. To close out the weekend, soccer will meet UTSA on the pitch in San Antonio.

Over the weekend, Texas State volleyball found success in a five-set exhibition match against UTSA with a come-from-behind win. The Bobcats will officially open the 2023 season on the road at the Tennessee Classic hosted by the University of Tennessee. Texas State will play Marist College and Tennessee on Friday, followed by UT Martin on Saturday.
