SAN MARCOS, Texas – In the latest States Up podcast, Texas State baseball's
Chase Mora gives insight into his record-breaking season, what led him to the program, and why he is only getting started to what could be a career as a two-way player.
Out of Tomball, Texas, Mora has worked his way into the lineup as a middle-of-the-order second baseman in his freshman season. He leads the team with 12 home runs, is second in RBI, and has started 32 of his 36 games played.
In the podcast, Mora shares where his power comes from, how he had to work on that this past fall after coming back from Tommy John surgery, what his plans are to pitch next season, and his overall approach at the plate since his barrage of home runs in his initial season as a Bobcat.
