SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State football is set to host its 2023 Spring Game, presented by Bud Light, on April 22 and give fans their first look at the Bobcats on the field under first-year head coach GJ Kinne.
The 2023 Spring Game will start at 11 am at Bobcat Stadium while gates will open at 10 am. Admission is free to all fans.
Seating will be on the west side of the stadium only and fans can enter the stadium through Gate 1 on the west side. All parking is free and located on the west side in Lots 1-3. Concessions will be open for fans as well.
In-Stadium Experience
Texas State will have several in-game experiences for all fans to enjoy before and during the game, including:
- Free 2023 Texas State football schedule posters for fans
- The Texas State Alumni Association will hold a crawfish boil open to all fans in the Paul & Pat Gowens Family Pavilion
- The Coca-Cola Kids Fun Zone will be open for kids and families
- In-game, on-the-field interviews with the Bobcats and coaches
- Postgame autographs with the Bobcats and open to all fans
Merchandise Sale
Fans can get their hands on game-worn Texas State jerseys, team-issued apparel, hats and other select merchandise. Certain items are $10 (cash only) and can be purchased only at the 2023 Spring Game. Hats and visors are $20 while other merchandise will also be available. The sale will begin at 10 am and located near the Gowens Family Pavilion.
Select-A-Seat
Fans looking to purchase their season tickets for the anticipated 2023 season can preview seat locations with the "Select-A-Seat." Texas Athletics ticket office representatives will be on hand to answer any questions and help lock in seats for the upcoming campaign.
Champions Club and Legacy Suites
The Dan & Cindee Diepenhorst Champions Club will be open to those who have renewed their club tickets for the 2023 season. Refreshments and snacks are available in the Champions Club to club ticket holders.
For Bobcat fans who have Legacy Suites, they are able to access this level. Please contact the Bobcat Club at least 24 hours before game time to have the suite opened and to get more information. The Bobcat Club can be reached by calling 512-245-2114.
Where to Follow Along
For fans outside of San Marcos and unable to attend in-person, the entire 2023 Spring Game will be broadcast on the radio on KTSW 89.9 and online and mobile devices through the free Varsity Network app. The broadcast will start with the pregame show at 10:30 am and Clint Shields and Geff Gandy will be on the call. The pair will interview special guests throughout the game as well.
