Texas State (1-4) won the first doubles match when
Kate Malazonia and
Mae McCutcheon defeated Aleksandra Zlatarova and Fatima Gutierrez 6-4 on the top court.Â

The Roadrunners (5-3, 1-0 C-USA) responded with a 6-3 win from Magda Tuells and Stanislava Bobrovnikova over
Kiana Graham and
Sofia Fortuno on line two.

UTSA's Alexandra Weir and Adeliya Mukhutdinova clinched the doubles point in a close 7-5 over
Emily Niers and
Jadeh Chan on court three.Â

Singles
Kiana Graham lost the first singles match 6-0, 6-3 to Zlatarova on the top court. The Roadrunners were up 3-0 after Wier won the court two match 6-3, 6-3 over freshman
Emily Niers.Â

Kate Malazonia earned the lone point of the match and singles win for the Bobcats beating Mukhutdinova 6-2, 6-4 on line three.Â

Andrea Pineda had her two-match singles win streak snapped after losing 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) on line four to Gutierrez to give UTSA the victory. Â

Sofia Fortuno and
Maria Lora were both in the third sets of their matches when UTSA clinched their fourth point.Â
