KAPOLEI, Hawaii – Texas State men's golf moved into second place after round two of the Kapolei Invitational on Wednesday at the Kapolei Golf Course.
Kasper Nyland held onto to his spot in the top-10.

After going 14-under 274 in the second round of Kapolei Invitational Texas State moved into second place at 31-under par. The second round total of 274 is a new season low for Texas State.
The Bobcats are five strokes behind No. 46 Loyola Marymount in first, and have a one stroke lead on No. 53 Florida Gulf Coast and No. 23 Baylor tied for third.
Individual
Three Bobcats shot a second round total of 68, and two recorded eagles on day two.
Kasper Nyland tied for 7th after going four-under 68 in the second round, and is at 10-under par.
Sakke Siltala recorded four birdies and an eagle to record a round of 68 and is now tied for 12
th at nine-under.
Marcelo Garza shot his third round of 70 this season and finished the day inside the top-25 and is six-under 138.
Tom Roed Karlsen recorded his second eagle of the tournament finished one-under par in the second round.
Jack Burke moved up the leaderboard 34 spots and finished the day two-under 68, his best round of the tournament this far.
