SAN MARCOS, Texas – The kickoff for the Texas State vs. Georgia Southern game on Saturday at Bobcat Stadium has been moved to 4 pm, Texas State Athletics announced on Monday morning.
 
A matchup between two of the top teams in the Sun Belt, the Bobcats will host the Eagles for the first time since 2021. Texas State (5-3, 2-2 SBC) is currently locked in a four-way tie for second place in the conference's West Division while Georgia Southern (6-2, 3-1 SBC) is in second in the East Division.
 
The Bobcats are aiming for their sixth win of the season on Saturday, which will make them bowl eligible for the first time since 2014.
