Evan White will compete in the NCAA Regionals May 16-18 at the Bryan Regional after securing an individual spot with his Sun Belt Conference Individual Championship win.

White qualified for the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships after claiming the Sun Belt Conference Individual Champion title. He stayed consistent in El Dorado, Arkansas shooting even on the course.
This is the fourth time a Texas State men's golfer has won the conference individual championship and advanced to the NCAA Regionals. The last Bobcat to do so was Stuart Smallwood in 2014. Tom Kenney in 1992 and Ken Novak in 1988 also accomplished this while in the Southland Conference.
The men's regionals will begin May 16 with Florida Atlantic, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Pacific, Texas A&M, and Yale serving as hosts for the six regional sites.
The top individual not associated with an advancing team will qualify for a spot at the 2022 NCAA Men's Golf Championships, which will be held at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona May 27-June 1.
A total of 13 teams and 10 individuals will compete at Traditions Club. White enters the regional as the No. 8 seed. The individuals will be grouped one through five and six through ten, and be paired with Texas Southern.

The Bryan Regional will begin at 7:30 a.m. on the first tee, with individuals teeing off at 9:20 a.m.
The second and third rounds will follow the same format of tee times from the opening round. Individuals will be paired with the 13
th team for all rounds.
