Bradley George - Football
Bradley George was a four-year letterwinner for Texas State football from 2006 to 2009. The quarterback was instrumental in the Bobcats winning the Southland Conference championship in 2008. The four-time team captain also led Texas State to back-to-back top-25 finishes in the final NCAA Division I FCS Sports Network Poll in 2008 and 2009.

In 2006, the redshirt freshman was named to the All-Southland Conference Second Team after finishing the season with 1,674 passing yards and 11 touchdowns.  He ranked second in the conference in both passing offense and total offense and third in the league in passing efficiency.

George's sophomore season saw him start in 11 games where he completed 190 of 334 passes for 2,099 yards and 16 touchdowns. His 16 touchdown passes tied for second in the conference that season while he was third in passing yards per game with an average of 190.8 yards.

During the 2008 season, George earned All-Southland Conference Honorable Mention and Southland Conference All-Academic Team Honors after becoming the first Texas State quarterback to throw for more than 2,000 yards in two consecutive seasons. He ranked among the nation's top six quarterbacks in passing efficiency after completing 181 of his 301 passes for 2,660 yards and a school-record 26 touchdowns. The conference champion Bobcats reached the FCS Playoffs that season as well.

In 2009, George passed for 3,121 yards while completing 63 percent of his passes and was named the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Year and Team MVP. He ranked second in the conference with 283 passing yards per game and seventh nationally in total offense.

Upon graduation, he was second in all-time passing yards and touchdown passes in the Southland Conference.

Over his career, George earned multiple All-Southland and Southland Conference Player of the Week awards. He was named 2009 Capital One Bank/Southland Conference Football Student-Athlete of the Year, given to the student-athlete who achieves excellence in both academics and athletics.

As of 2021, George continues to hold the top spot in the Texas State record book in career passing yards (9,556), total yards (9,786), touchdown passes (76) and most touchdowns responsible for (79). Additionally, he holds single-season records in touchdown passes (26), pass completions (258), and the highest total offense average per game (286.1).

George graduated with a bachelor's degree in construction technology in 2008 and a Master of Applied Geography in Land Development and Management in 2010.

George currently works as a construction manager for Williams Gas Pipeline and is an active supporter and alumnus for the Bobcats. He currently lives in Charlottesville, Virginia on work assignment with his wife Paige.

Robert "Bobby" Sawicki - Baseball
Robert "Bobby" Sawicki was a four-year letterwinner for Texas State baseball from 2001 to 2005. One of the most decorated pitchers in Texas State history, Sawicki is currently in the top-four in program history in wins, innings pitched and strikeouts in both single-season and career categories.

As a freshman in 2001, Sawicki made 16 appearances with 13 starts while also playing 15 games in the infield. He led the team with 88.2 innings pitched and was second in strikeouts with 42, helping him be named to the American Baseball Coaches Association All-Region Team, Freshman All-American Honorable Mention, and All-Southland Conference Third Team as a pitcher.

Sawicki had a fantastic sophomore season in 2002 as he posted the second most wins in a season in Texas State history with 11 and earned All-Southland Conference First Team honors. He started 16 games, which included seven complete games and a shutout. He led the Bobcats in nearly every pitching category that season:  ERA (3.57), innings pitched (118.1), strikeouts (124), and batting average against (.242). He also registered victories over top-10 nationally ranked Houston and Rice and saved a game against eighth-ranked and eventual College World Series champions, Texas.

Hampered by a shoulder injury, Sawicki started only five games in 2003 and received a medical redshirt for that season. The shoulder injury continued into the 2004 season, limiting Sawicki's time on the field. He returned in 2005, though, and appeared in 16 games with a 7-2 record and 3.95 ERA. He was selected All-Southland Conference Third Team following his senior season.

During Sawicki's career, the Bobcats defeated several top-25 teams, including wins against Baylor, Houston, Nebraska, Rice, TCU, Texas and Texas A&M. Sawicki continues to hold a place in the record books, ranking second in season wins (11) and innings pitched (118.1) as well as third in single-season strikeouts (124). Additionally, he is second all-time in career strikeouts with 241, third in innings pitched with 239.1, and fourth in career wins with 23.

During his playing career, Sawicki was named preseason All-American, two-time academic all-conference, National Dean's List, Texas State Dean's List, Southwest Texas Dean's List, and a member of the Council for Student-Athletes.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2004 and went on to earn his Master of Science in Finance and Real Estate at the University of Aberdeen located in Scotland. He is currently employed with USAA Real Estate in San Antonio.

Sawicki has also taken his community service experience as a Bobcat and maintained that level of service post-graduation. He visited local elementary schools for reading events and to share his experience as a student-athlete while at Texas State and has continued being involved by working with organizations such as Stand Up 2 Cancer, "We Give Thanks" in California, and the Capital Area Food Bank where he served on the donor advisory council.

Sawicki currently resides in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas, with his wife Ashley and their two children, Brodie and Madeleine.
