SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's golf program will be competing in the White Sands Bahamas Invitational through Oct. 28-30 at the Ocean Club Golf Course at Paradise Island.
The three-day tournament hosted by Virginia Commonwealth University will feature one round each day with a 7 a.m. CT shotgun start for all rounds. For the opening round the Bobcats will be paired with their fellow Sun Belt Conference members Arkansas State and Troy. There will be five schools from the Sun Belt represented in the tournament.
Texas State will be seeking their second team title and third straight top-five finish of the season. The Bobcats captured the team championship when they hosted the Tempest Collegiate.
In the last outing for Texas State, the team finished in fifth and
Kasper Nyland tied for third at The Clerico for his best finish of the season.
Terrin Anderson will be competing as an individual for the second time this season. The senior earned his career-best finish of second place at the Tempest Collegiate shooting three-under par.
