GLADEWATER, Texas – Senior
Terrin Anderson and the Bobcats both end the second round of the Tempest Collegiate in third place.
Team
The top five teams from round one found themselves in their same spot to end the second round today. Texas State will enter the final round in third after shooting two-over par today, putting them even on the Tempest Golf Club course.
Rice leads the field of 11 with 15-under par, the Bobcats are nine strokes behind fellow Sub Belt Conference school South Alabama.
Individual
Senior
Terrin Anderson moved up two spots and is now tied for third just three strokes behind Rick Frauenberger from SFA. Anderson's second round was highlighted by an eagle on hole 10 and four birdies. He is currently in first among the individuals competing.
Sophomore
Jack Burke saw the highest jump on the leaderboard for the Bobcats, moving up six places to claim a spot in the top-10. Burke shot two-under and had three birdies.
Harrison Hineline is in second among individuals after shooting two-over par in the second round.
Kasper Nyland joins Hineline in a seven-way tie for 16
th with an even score after two rounds.
Tom Roed Karlsen and
Sakke Siltala are tied for 23
rd one-over par. Both newcomers dropped out of the top-15, Karlsen did record six birdies, the most for the bobcats in a single round in the tournament so far.
