COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas State soccer team's trip to take on 23rd-ranked Texas A&M ended with the Aggies winning 3-0 at Ellis Field Saturday night.

The loss dropped the Bobcats to 4-12-1 on the season while TAMU improved to 10-3-0.

Beth Agee made four saves in the first 12 minutes before the Aggies eventually got a shot by her. That came late in the 20th minute off the foot of Taylor Pounds with assists to Laney Carroll and Taylor Ziemer.

In the 33rd minute,
Haley Shaw placed a shot on frame that was saved.
Â
Emma Jones saw a shot attempt in the 42nd minute go wide right of the frame.
Alana Clark followed less than a minute later with an attempt that was stopped by the TAMU goalkeeper.

The only shot that Texas State placed on goal in the second half came in the 49th minute off the foot of
Kamaria Williams.

Twice the Aggies scored in the final 45 minutes with a tally in the 60th minute and the last coming midway through the 86th minute.

Also finishing the match with a shot attempt was
Olivia Wright about a minute after TAMU's third goal.

Agee ended the contest making five saves to increase her season total to 87. She is now tied with Paige Perriraz for the sixth most saves in a season in program history.

The Bobcats conclude their season on Wednesday, Mar. 31 at I-35 rival UTSA with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
