Then, Hood hit a pair of three-point field goals to help Texas State build a 45-41 lead with 2:48 left to play.
Â
After Little Rock rallied to tie the score at 45-45, Hood nailed a jumper outside the paint to give the Bobcats a 47-45 lead. Little Rock turned the ball over on its next possession.
Avionne Alexander hit the second of her two free throws, and Taylor drove in for a layup off a steal by
Bailey Holle to give the Bobcats a 50-45 lead with six seconds left to play.
Â
Holle fouled Tori Lasker with five seconds left, and she made both of her free throws to make the final score 50-47.
