JONESBORO, Ark. - The Texas State men's golf team returns to action on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 12-13, when the Bobcats travel to Arkansas State's 25th annual Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate golf tournament at the RidgePointe Country Club.
The Bobcats will have a lineup that includes
Logan Lockwood,
Dalton Hankamer,
Evan White,
Fabian Sunden,
Kasper Nyland, and
Payne Johnson.
Texas State will compete against teams from Arkansas State, Abilene Christian, Central Arkansas, Houston Baptist, Missouri Baptist, Oklahoma Christian, Southern Illinois, Stephen F. Austin, and UT Arlington.
The teams play 36 holes on Monday and a final round of 18 holes on Tuesday. Monday's first round begins at 7:30 a.m., with groups teeing off on holes No. 1 and No. 10. The second round follows immediately on Monday, and the third round begins on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m.
The format for the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate will be play six, count four, that features the Bobcats and other teams having six team members in their lineups and the four lowest scores in each of the three rounds counting towards the team totals.
