MOBILE, Ala. – The Texas State women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss at South Alabama in a Sun Belt Conference match Sunday at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Courts.

South Alabama also captured the No. 6 match by default to take an early 2-0 lead. The Jaguars clinched the victory when Pasanen defeated
Sofia Murcia-Rodriguez on the No. 4 court and Nikola Kohoutova beat Chia Ming Ming on the No. 3 court.
Israel-Lewis forced a third set in the No. 2 match against Yu Fujioka before ultimately falling 6-3, 3-6, 10-6.
In the top seeded match,
Ana Perez dropped a 6-3, 6-1 decision against Alexandria Stiteler and
