SAN MARCOS, Texas – The offense for the Texas State baseball team was stifled by Nevada Saturday afternoon at Bobcat Ballpark in a 4-0 loss in the Texas State Tournament.

With the setback, the Bobcats drop to 1-1 on the year while the Wolf Pack remain undefeated at 2-0.

Taking the loss on the mound was Hunter McMahon (0-1). He went 5.0 innings in his TXST debut with four strikeouts but allowed three runs on four hits and four walks. Owen Sharts (1-0) threw seven shutouts innings and surrendered three hits to pick up the victory.
