SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team returns to action after eight days off with a trip to the Centennial State to take on Colorado State at 4 p.m. CT on Sunday in Moby Arena.
Entering the game, the Bobcats are 5-5 on the season while the Rams are 4-6.

Brant Freeman will have the call on the radio with the game being broadcast on 103.1 FM out of Austin. Fans can also listen to the game through the iHeartRadio and TuneIn Radio apps on their mobile devices.
Nijal Pearson paces all TXST players with 14.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. The sophomore has made 38.5 percent of his shots and is second on the team with a 36.4 three-point percentage and 20 made treys.
Also putting up double-digit points per contest is
Immanuel King at 10.1 following his first career double-double at Abilene Christian with a career-high 15 points and 11 rebounds. The senior is shooting a team-high 70.2 percent from the field. He is grabbing 5.6 rpg, the third most on the team behind Pearson and
Alex Peacock's 5.8.
Tyler Blount contributes 8.9 ppg with 21 of his 31 made field goals coming from beyond the arc. The Virginia Beach, Virginia native has connected on 47.7 percent of his long distance attempts.
Coming off the bench in every game this season,
Eric Terry is netting 7.6 ppg. He is tied with King for the team lead with eight blocks.
Scouting Colorado State
Colorado State has lost two straight, both coming on the road to Arkansas and Oregon. The Rams are 4-0 at home this season with victories over Colorado, Northwestern State, Sacramento State and Winthrop. Sunday will be the first of three consecutive home games for CSU to end its non-conference slate.
Prentiss Nixon is one of three Rams to average double-digit points this season with a team best 18.6 per contest. He has converted 40 percent of his shot attempts and has seen 29 of his 50 made field goals being three-pointers.
Che Bob is second on the team in scoring (10.6), rebounding (7.9) and steals (10). He has blocked a team-high 17 shots.
Also putting up double-digit points is J.D. Paige at 10.5 per contest. He has dished out a team best 2.2 assists per game.
Entering Sunday pacing CSU in rebounding is Nico Carvacho at 8.6 per game. The redshirt sophomore is averaging 7.1 ppg on 40.6 percent shooting.
All-Time vs. Rams
CSU won the only previous meeting between the programs on Dec. 21, 2004 That day saw the Bobcats fall 83-65 in Fort Collins.
