SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Sun Belt Conference announced Monday that the Texas State's football game at Houston on Sept. 26 kicks off at 7 p.m. The game is at TDECU Stadium and will be televised on ESPN3.

This will be the third straight week and eighth time in the last two seasons that Texas State plays on ESPN3. The Bobcats are 5-2 in the previous seven games.

Texas State hosts Southern Miss this week before traveling to Houston. The Bobcats are 1-1 this season following a 63-24 victory over Prairie View A&M. Houston will have a bye week this week and enters the Texas State game with a 2-0 record after winning a 34-31 decision at Louisville last Saturday.
Houston enters its lone bye week of the season after defeating Louisville 34-31 on the road Saturday. Now 2-0, Houston is receiving votes in the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls for the first time since the conclusion of the 2011 season.
