SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team looks to improve to 4-1 on Wednesday, when it hosts Texas Lutheran at 7 p.m. at Strahan Coliseum. The Bobcats are coming off a 68-39 win against Howard Payne on Sunday.
The Bobcats held the Yellow Jackets to 39 points Sunday, marking the second time under Coach Kaspar a team has failed to break the 40-point barrier. Prior to Kaspar's arrival, the last time a team failed to score 40 points against Texas State was in 2003.
Cameron Naylor had a big game on Sunday, scoring 18 points and adding 16 rebounds for his first double-double at Texas State. His marks were the first time a Texas State player has amassed 18 and 16 since Tony Bishop in 2010.
