Box Score SAN MARCOS, Texas- Texas State senior punter-kicker Will Johnson has been selected the Sun Belt Conference Special Teams Player of the Week after he enjoyed a perfect day as a kicker and punter in Texas State's win at Georgia State.
 
Johnson tied a school record when he kicked a career-best four field goals against the Panthers. The four field goals also equal a Sun Belt Conference single-game high for this season and the third-highest single game total in SBC history.
 
He also had all 11 of his kickoffs result in a touchback and he made all six of his extra-point attempts.  As Texas State's punter, Johnson placed his only punt in the game inside the 20-yard line when his 34-yard kick resulted in a fair catch at the 13-yard line in the fourth quarter.
 
Johnson scored Texas State's first points in the game with a 21-yard field goal and gave the Bobcats their lead of 6-3 with a 28-yard field goal on Texas State's next possession. He also kicked field goals from 36 yards and 31 yards in the third quarter.
