SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team hosts its final non-conference game of the season on Saturday, when it plays Huston-Tillotson at 4 p.m., at Strahan Coliseum.
Texas State is currently 5-3 and is looking for its first 6-3 start since the 2011-12 season. The Bobcats are currently 15th in the country in scoring defense at 56.0 points per game.
In the team's last game Cameron Naylor led the squad with 13 points and eight rebounds. He was one of four players in double digits, joined by D.J. Brown, Wes Davis and Emani Gant.
Gant is among the national leaders in field goal percentage (60.3) and steals per game (2.43) ranking 27th and 28th respectively.
